Stephanie Carr has over two decades of experience as a creative professional. She began her career as a production artist at a small ad agency, in a short time she was promoted to art director and handled model, product shoots, design and production. From there she went to United Way for Southeastern Michigan where she handled design for collateral and capital campaign marketing materials. Wanting to expand her knowledge into media, she created commercial production ads, and on-air news graphics at WKBD.
Her company Stephanie Carr Designs and Communications has created brand transformations and design solutions for a variety of industries which include: Fortune 500 companies, corporations, ad agencies, automotive, non-profit, medical, television and music. Stephanie is well known for her attention to detail, computer design skill and knowledge of different industries.
Her extensive client list includes: CBS/UPN 50, Detroit News/Free Press, Michigan Chronicle, WDIV TV4, UAW, Ford, Ford Field, Chrysler, General Motors, Health Alliance Plan, Prince & Paisley Park Enterprises, Eric Benét; The Voice winner, Cam Anthony, and the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and United Way just to name a few.
A few of her highlights are: 
•Ford Field, where she designed the opening playbook and operations guide. 
•Motown artist, KEM, who she designed his brand and several of his album covers. Her work with KEM has earned a Platinum Record for Kemistry (over 1,000,000 units sold) and 2 Gold records (over 500,000 units sold) with total album sales over 2.5 million.
•Designed branding, signage, marketing materials, and handled vendors for the Mack and Third Benefit Concerts with attendance of 50k concert attendees per year. 
•Created the highest selling t-shirt design (sold out in day 2) for the 17th African World Festival presented by Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
•Stephanie worked with Dr. Jennifer Lawson in creating infographics and illustrations on a project for the DTE Foundation that resulted in grants totaling $1.8 million over three years to homeless shelters for victims of domestic violence.
Stephanie is an adjunct professor at Wayne County Community College District where she has developed course curriculum for the Fashion Design department. Her courses include: CAD for fashion design, color theory, computer aided pattern drafting, adobe illustrator certificate, fashion illustration, the business of fashion, and introduction to graphic design.
She is the principle owner of: Mind, Belly & Soul™ - an instructional dance company where she teaches dance, culture, and wellness principals. 
Stephanie is a native Detroiter graduating from Renaissance High School. She received her Bachelor’s of Fine Art with a major in Fashion Illustration from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia. During college, she pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Gamma Epilson Chapter at the University of Pennsylvania. Stephanie received a Masters of Science in Instructional Design at Full Sail University in Florida in 2018, receiving both valedictorian, and the advanced achievement award accolades.
